Assessment

Vehicle: Group capstone project carried out in CSCI 4230. The Senior Exit Survey will be administered in CSCI 4000.

Goal: At least 70% of students who passed CSCI 4230 received Satisfactory or Good on Measure 1 below. Item 3 below lists questions that are asked on the Senior Exit Survey. Measure 2 is evaluated according to student responses to those questions. At least 70% of graduating seniors received Satisfactory or Good on the at least three of the questions in item 3, according to the rubric for measure 2.

3. The following questions on the Senior Exit Survey will be used to assess Outcome (h).

   1. Have you completed any co-ops and/or internships?
   2. Are you a member of any professional societies (e.g., ACM or IEEE), computer gaming development clubs, or other professional organizations that relate in some way to the field of computer science?
   3. Have you attended any professional conferences in computer science?
   4. Have you attended any professional presentations in computer science outside the classroom?
