Students will acquire an ability to analyze the local and global impact of computing on individuals, organizations, and society.

Outcome (g) contributes to objective 4.

Assessment

Vehicle: Assignments, group project and final exam in CSCI 4000.

Goal: At least 70% of students who passed CSCI 4000 received Satisfactory or Good on the following questions and measures.

  1. Case study of software design that takes into consideration the needs of individuals, organizations and society. (rubric)

  2. Analysis of the local and global impact of computing on individuals, organizations and society. Student uses disciplinary concepts to explain how global and local issues are interconnected. (rubric)
