Assessment Responsibilities for CSCI 3030
Follow the guidelines for
submitting assessment information. Any submitted files that do not follow
the guidelines will be ignored.
There are four levels:
Introduction

Introduce and use the ability, but don't assess how well
students do.
Introduction and assessment
-
Introduce and use the ability. Assess how well
students do.
Reinforcement (and initial assessment)
-
Build on students' knowledge and capabilities with
respect to this ability and assess how well they do.
Validation (assessment of competence)
-
Possibly expand on students' knowledge with respect
to this ability and assess how well the do. But the focus of validation is to
employ less hand holding and, if possible, to determine
whether students will employ this ability where
appropriate without being coerced to do so.
