  • [2011-2012] Courses SENG 6247 (Software Security Engineering) and SENG 6285 (Cloud Computing) are created. SENG 6255 (formerly Software Requirements Modeling and Analysis) is renamed Software Requirements Engineering to give it a more suitable focus. SENG 6247 and SENG 6285 are added as electives.

  • [2010-2011] The core is reduced from five courses plus a project or thesis to two courses plus a project or thesis. Concentration areas are introduced to allow different kinds of students to choose a suitable concentration. The concentrations are

    • Software Design and Development
    • Software Project Management and Quality Assurance
    • Software Testing
    with four courses in each concentration. Electives were reduced by one course.
