Qin Ding obtained her Ph. D. degree in Computer Science from North Dakota State University in 2002, M. Eng. and B. Sci. degrees, both in Computer Science, from Nanjing University, China, in 1991 and 1988 respectively. She was with the Computer Science Department at Pennsylvania State University at Harrisburg before joining East Carolina University.
